  • Overview
    This thirty days intensive hands-on course certifies and prepares students to work on oil rigs at the entry level. It is a physically demanding program that provides a practical, hands-on, challenging training environment. Students acquire the mental and physical conditioning with an emphasis on safety. The course content includes knowledge and skills in rig components, hoisting systems, rotary, Kelly, the circulating system and safety procedures.  

    Eligibility : Any degree/diploma/ any graduate or 10+2 with good communication skills and interest to work in oil and gas industry.
    Jobs: This course is internationally recognized and the certificates which we will issue you proves you are ready to work in oil and gas industry from day one of the job. Candidates completing this course will be provided with 100% Job Guarantee. Job location would be in Gujarat with one of the onshore drilling contractor.

  • Training Outline
    Drilling & Coring Operations Clearly explains drilling to non- technical persons. Drilling rigs have many, many parts and rig personnel do many, many things; as a result, it is hard to make the drilling process understandable. To help students understand, however, this course not only describes parts and techniques in simple terms, it also tells why a part or a technique is necessary. What is more, photos and drawings show the equipment, the personnel, and many of the operations described in text.

    HSE RIG PASS (Rig Safety and Induction Training) This course is designed to meet two requirements:

    To identify core elements of training programs for new rig employees, and To provide a means of recognizing programs that adhere to those elements An effective safety orientation program is a vital element in today’s energy industry. HSE RIG PASS has developed a standard core curriculum that is world-class.

    A HSE RIG PASS card shows the bearer has completed HSE RIG PASS instruction with offshore endorsement as defined by the drilling industry’s leading safety and training professionals. Students will complete this program followed by a written exam he or she must pass. The curriculum includes 12 basic modules applicable to any operation.

    HSE RIG PASS is referenced in both API RP59 “Recommended Practice for Well Control” and RP 64,“ Recommended Practice for Diverter Systems, Equipment and Operations.”

    Industry Safety Objective Students are also required to pass the following Industry Safety Programs. The objective of the courses is to provide practical "hands on" knowledge and skills.

  • Hoisting & Rigging Safety
    Learning Outcome Delegates attending this training programme will be taught the essentials of Slinging and Lifting operations. This will be followed by practical exercises, which will allow delegates to demonstrate their skills and be individually assessed by an experienced assessor.

    Fall Protection What is fall protection? When to use fall protection and the different types of fall protection e.g. entering confine spaces, heights including working in the derrick and working over the side. Demonstration of proper utilization of fall arrest systems and its components e.g. safety or inertia reels, safety lines, harnesses and lanyards.

    Basic Fire Safety What is fire? This program will also review the causes and prevention of fires. Training in the utilization of various types of extinguishing agents and extinguishers used in fighting fires. Students learn about offshore fire teams, their duties, what to expect being a member of such a unique team and fire drill participation.

    Confined Space Entry Student will learn the knowledge and skills required to identify, plan and execute entry into a confine space area e.g. tanks including P-tank pre load, spud, ballast, pit, and crane columns.

    Students learn preparation of work procedures and entry permits, atmospheric testing and proper (PPE) personal protective equipment.

    H2S Awareness This program will introduce students to H2S properties and environments. How to properly protect yourself using hands on demonstration of donning self contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) and demonstrating the use of (multi - meter) personal portable monitors for detection and hands on rescue techniques. Analysis of hydrogen sulfide case studies.

    Forklift Operator Safety Training This program will review the OH&S regulation for forklift. Students will learn forklift theory, general safety rules e.g. refueling lift trucks, battery charging and recharging, pre operational checks, operational checks and practical hands on competency training.

    Standard First Aid & CPR This program will cover the standard level of First Aid training requirement using practical hands on and scenario situations.

    HAZMAT Thisthis course covers the Workplace Hazardous Information System. This system will cover introduction and recognition of WHMIS controlled products, its labels, MSDS and responsibilities, worker education programs, personal protective equipment, terms and regulation

    (OH&S) Occupational Health & Safety This course will explain the Act and Regulation to those who work in a occupational working environments. Included throughout safety courses.
     

  • IADC WELLSHARP WELL CONTROL TRAINING (INTRODUCTORY / FUNDAMENTAL) :
    This is an introductory course designed to give potential well control certification candidates an awareness of surface well control theory, practices and equipment as a preparation testing. An additional day can be arranged to further cover subsea and simulator training.
